Rebuilding Function and a Natural Smile: Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
This case is a comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation, not a cosmetic quick fix. The patient presented with a significant malocclusion, missing teeth and worn, uneven dentition, a combination that affected both the appearance of the smile and, just as importantly, the way the teeth met and functioned.
Treating this properly meant addressing the foundation first, not just the surface. The rehabilitation combined several disciplines in a planned sequence: orthodontics to correct the position of the teeth and establish a healthy bite, dental implants to replace what was missing and preserve the bone, and crowns and porcelain veneers to rebuild and refine the individual teeth. Each stage was planned to work with the next.
The result restores far more than aesthetics. Proper chewing function and correct occlusion, how the upper and lower teeth meet, were re-established, which is what makes a result like this stable and lasting rather than simply attractive. The final smile is deliberately natural: balanced proportions, a healthy shade, and teeth that look real, not artificial. This is what comprehensive dentistry aims for, form and function rebuilt together.
